Football Matches
Well done to the girls for winning their final match of the group against Kilcormac/Broughal on Monday October 9th. The girls have played really well and are unlucky not to have reached the final.
Well done to the boys on their victory against Pullough on Wednesday October 10th. The team has played well, winning three of their five matches. Unfortunately they have just missed out on a place in the final.

In Cairdeas 2 we planted some daffodils bulbs.
Offaly Cross Country Athletics

Green Schools
Our new Green School Committee met today. One representative was chosen from each class to help gain another green flag. This year our theme is “Global Citizenship – Litter & Waste”.
Football Matches
Tough luck to the both the boys’ and girls’ teams who lost their matches against Cloneygowan today. Both were very tight. The girls were beaten by a point while the boys lost out by two points. Good performances from both teams and unlucky not to win. The boys play Cloghan in Geashill on Wednesday 4th October at 3.30pm.
