We held our annual Bring & Buy Sale in aid of St. Vincent de Paul on Thursday 7th December. The children really enjoyed the day and raised just over €570. Well done and thanks to everyone who contributed to such a worthy cause.
Dragons’ Den in 5th and 6th Classes
The pupils in 5th and 6th Classes worked in groups and created four new business ideas. They worked on all areas associated with a business, such as advertising, finance and production. They then had to pitch their businesses, Dragons’ Den style, to two dragons, looking for investment. This was a very interesting and worthwhile experience which encouraged teamwork and entrepreneurship. Thanks to Nadia from Bizworld for all her work and guidance over the two days. Thanks also to Darren from Bank of Ireland and Mr. Maher for being very good dragons.
