April 2021

We are all so delighted to be able to return to school on Monday. The boys and girls are looking forward to meeting their friends again. All of the children have worked so hard over the past seven weeks and I have no doubt they will continue to do so over when they return to class. Well done everyone and I cannot wait to see you all really soon.
Take a look below at the fabulous work they have completed this week.

We have returned to remote learning this month and all of the boys and girls are doing a fantastic job. I will keep you updated with photographs and videos of some of the activities the children are completing each week. Don’t forget to stay in touch via Class Dojo and stay safe.

What a week! Well done boys and girls on all of the work you have completed this week. I particularly loved the photographs you sent me showing signs of spring. We had everything from tiny snowdrops in the gardens to baby lambs on farms.
Take a look at the video clip below if you would like to see some more of Junior Infants’ hard work.

Welcome to the month of February and week 4 of remote learning. The boys and girls in Junior Infants began this week by learning about St. Brigid. They made crosses and listened to stories about St. Brigid.
As part of Children’s Mental Health Week, the boys and girls sent lovely uplifting messages to each other. They practiced some mindfulness activities and engaged in some yoga.
What a great week children, you are doing fantastic work. This video will show you a little more about what they got up to.

Week 3: Remote Learning
Well done to all the boys and girls in Ms. Galvin’s class and their parents, on another great week of working from home. You are all doing your very best and that’s all I can ask of you.
This week was extra special as we got to celebrate Catholic Schools Week. The boys and girls also celebrated Grandparents’ Day on Wednesday and I received lovely photographs of the much loved grandparents out there. To finish out the week, Monsignor Coonan said a lovely mass for us all in Geashill N.S.
Take a look below at just a fraction of the lovely work that has been sent to me this week.

Week 2: Remote Learning
Another week of learning from home done and dusted. What a fantastic job you all did. I think the video below says it all. I am extremely proud of all of my junior infant pupils and the work they have been doing during these difficult times. Keep going boys and girls.
I have to say, looking at all of the delicious cupcakes made me hungry!
