Hi all,

As the school year comes to an end, let’s take a look back over the best moments from 2019- 2020. Well done to all of you for working so hard this year; both in school and from home. Thank you for sending voice recordings and photos of your work to ClassDojo in the last few weeks, some of which I have included in the video below. I’m looking forward to seeing you all again in the coming school year.

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Educational packs were sent home with all children last Thursday, 12th of March. Any child who was absent on this day should receive their pack via post by this Wednesday. The following sections are included:
• Numeracy
• Literacy
• Fine Motors Skills
• Art
• Reading (for all children working on the Edmark Program.)

I would recommend that your child completes one or two pages from each section every day. Most of the work provided is based on revision, however if something is too difficult, mark it on the page for my attention and move on to the next page.

It is important to keep as active as possible over the coming weeks, Gonoodle and Cosmic Kids Yoga have lots of ideas for keeping active if the weather is unsuitable for outdoor play. There are a number of great resources available online- I will share links and pictures of these on ClassDojo.

In Spain there is currently a movement called #frommywindow (#desdemiventana) All children are encouraged to put their arts and crafts in the windows so when they go out for a walk (not in groups) they can look at the work of the other children and keep up the good spirit. The message behind the craft is “Everything will be okay.” This would be a lovely idea for children to get involved in.
