Active School Week 2021 April 26th – 30th
Tuesday 27th
Another very active day today.
Starting with our 10@10.
Followed by Run Around Offaly, today’s destination was Clonmacnoise.
We then had great fun playing beach ball volleyball.
Monday 26th
We got off to a great start to our week with an energising 10@10 followed by Run Around Offaly. Today we covered the distance from Geashill to Birr Castle and back again.
We also completed an exercise circuit with 17 different exercises.
Well done to everyone!

Well done to all of the children in 2nd and 3rd class on another amazing week of online learning.

January 25th to 29th 2021
This week we have been kept very busy with lots of activities. We took part in Catholic schools week along with all of our usual work.
Our STEM challenge this week was to build a handheld marble maze. Well done to all who took part in the challenge.
We also completed lots of school work such as English, maths, gaeilge, art, history, religion, PE and more.
We learned all about the Vikings, check out our amazing drawings.
We also had great fun on our class calls and tried out a new online quiz site called Blooket.
January 18th to 22nd 2021
The children have been very busy this week completing school work, physical activity, baking, STEM challenges, history and lots more.

December 2020
This month was another very busy month. We spent a lot of time creating lovely Christmas art and crafts. We completed a very exciting STEM challenge called Spaghetti Tower. We also finished studying our writing genre of information reports and wrote some excellent reports on Toucans.

Congratulations to all of the 3rd class children who finally got the chance to make their First Holy Communion. You have all worked so hard in preparation and deserved the best day.
This month we studied Tropical Rainforests, check out some of our projects.
We have also completed a lot of Autumn and Halloween art.
